A Look Inside Magdas Hotel Vienna

A unique hotel concept by AllesWirdGut has opened in Vienna’s Prater district, with the Magdas Hotel being both a hotel for tourists as well as offering housing for refugees. Split into two residential units, one side is occupied by 25 young people who arrived as parentless refugees in the country in November 2014, while the other operates as a regular hotel. Some of the refugees reside there as a temporary place to live, while others also work there. Existing furniture was sourced to decorate the hotel, which has been fitted out in a minimal design with a muted color concept throughout.
